Our Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we handle and safeguard the personal information you provide to us, and to assist you in making informed decisions when engaging with our organisation or using our website. This Policy will be continuously assessed against new technologies and business practices and our users’ needs in order to ensure the protection and privacy of personal information and personal data.

What information do we collect?
Personal information
We only collect personal information from you where it is necessary and directly related to our organisation. This may occur when our supporters and other individuals register to donate, volunteer, receive our newsletters or attend an event, etc or otherwise contact us and provide information.
If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received by mail and telephone.
Sensitive Information
Humpty will not collect sensitive information unless it is required by law for any reason, or you have expressly consented. Sensitive information includes information relating to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, health or sexual preferences.

Similar to other websites, we use a standard technology on our website called “cookies” (see explanation below) and web server log files to collect information on an aggregate basis about how our website is used. Under certain circumstances, Humpty may reserve the right to deny access to personal information, but it will always provide reasons for doing so. How to make a complaint
